ArtWorks for Milwaukee, a local nonprofit that combines workforce development and the arts, is slated to benefit from the Staffing for a Cause Challenge, a fundraising contest between the employees of Hatch Staffing and Kforce Staffing.
ArtWorks for Milwaukee is experiencing a pivotal year in 2014 in the hope to serve over 100 teens this year and to continue to expand into the future. In 2013, ArtWorks worked with 48 teens. Since 2001, ArtWorks has offered high school students paid internships to help develop life and career skills through art projects.
The Staffing for a Cause Challenge was created by the Hatch and Kforce internal teams. The team that raises the largest amount by September 7th wins the challenge.
“The mission of ArtWorks ties in so well to the staffing industry, encouraging teens to learn job skills and professionalism. We’re excited to support the teens that ArtWorks hires and trains in its arts-based internships,” said Eric Becher of Hatch Staffing.
