Next Door, the leading provider of early education services in Central City Milwaukee, will hold its 26th Annual Walk for Children on Saturday, May 16th to raise awareness for the important programming Next Door delivers to the city’s most vulnerable children and their families.
Green Bay Running Back Eddie Lacy will lead the Walk this year. The event begins at 9 a.m. (rain or shine) at Next Door Headquarters at 2545 N. 29th Street.
“I’m proud to be a part of this Walk for Children to help kids in Milwaukee get ready for school,” said Lacy who will walk with the participants for the full-mile neighborhood walk.
The 2015 Presenting Sponsor for Walk for Children is Harley-Davidson Motor Company. Harley-Davidson has been the leading sponsor for the walk since its inception in 1989.
