Temporary Resurfacing, an outdoor, multi-video projection event, will take place Saturday, June 18 from 8:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. on West Historic Mitchell Street between S. 9th St. and S. 11th St.
The event, produced by artists Demitra Copoulos, Marla Sanvick, Maeve Jackson and the Historic Mitchell Street BID, will feature video productions by more than 30 regional and national artists projected simultaneously onto exterior surfaces and within buildings. Video installations will range in scale from entire facades to small storefronts.
“I invite everyone to come down to Historic Mitchell Street and see the hard work of these artists,” Alderman José G. Pérez said. “It’s going to be a great event.”
