WHAT: The second annual Milwaukee Startup Week presented by Northwestern Mutual returns next week, November 6th – 12th, 2017 with dozens of free workshops, networking events and pitch competitions for Southeast Wisconsin’s emerging and established entrepreneurs.
WHO: Milwaukee Startup Week presented by Northwestern Mutual, November 6th – 12th, 2017 aims to connect, educate and celebrate entrepreneurs around Southeast Wisconsin. The week will be packed with over 50 networking events, workshops, hackathons and pitch competitions. Milwaukee Startup Week is supported by Aurora Health Care, Concordia University Wisconsin, Husch Blackwell, Northwestern Mutual, Answerport, Accelity Marketing, Skills Pipeline and WEDC. Last year’s inaugural event was attended by over 2,700 people.
Milwaukee startup week is part of the Wisconsin Startup Week initiative which was founded by the leaders of Milwaukee event. Wisconsin Startup Week, November 6 – 10th aims to connect, educate and celebrate entrepreneurs in 10 cities around the state of Wisconsin. The week will be packed with over 200 networking events, workshops, hackathons and pitch competitions.
WHY: Entrepreneurs play a key role in growing Southeast Wisconsin’s economy. Milwaukee Startup Week is dedicated to connecting, educating and celebrating entrepreneurs and their contributions to the local economy.
WHEN: Monday, November 6th, 8am to Sunday, November 12th at 5pm.
WHERE: The 50+ events will be held all around Southeast Wisconsin including Milwaukee, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, Kenosha and Mequon.
