Tornadoes are capable of destroying well-made structures, uprooting trees and hurling objects through the air like deadly missiles. Wisconsin’s tornado season generally runs from April through September with the greatest numbers of tornadoes occurring in May, June and July, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
