Kenneth Giles, 19, recently participated in a series of dialogues co-produced by Metcalfe Park’s Building Neighborhood Capacity Program and the Zeidler Center for Public Discussion. He was one of about 20 young adults from Metcalfe Park who expressed what’s on their minds. Here he shares some of his personal story.

On May 9, the city of Milwaukee razed two abandoned houses next door to the home of Ben Hibler, 2165 N. 6th St. Hibler and his granddaughter, Brianna Kazee, watched while the houses came down. He said he’s seen other houses in the area come down recently.
