A new artisan cheese factory in Walker’s Point will be “small, local and value-driven,” according to owner Robert Wills, who plans to open the “Clock Shadow Creamery” in the next month. The operation, located in an environmentally friendly building, will be “green” from top to bottom.
The Multicultural Entrepreneurial Institute has trained hundreds of prospective business owners since it was founded in 2006. After completing the training program, 10 entrepreneurs recently competed for $3,000 grants to start or expand their businesses.
