As part of the Milwaukee Wave of Hope Grant from the Zilber Family Foundation, seven Journey House Youth Soccer League participants got the chance to attend the 2011 Milwaukee Wave Summer Soccer Camp in Wauwatosa’s Hawthorne Park. For five days (June 13-17) these young athletes worked on their technical and tactical skills, getting pointers from some of the best in the sport.

Participants also received camp soccer balls and t-shirts as well as tickets to Milwaukee Wave home games for the upcoming season. Scholarships are valued at $225 each.
