Participants will depart Milwaukee on Friday, January 18 and return on Tuesday, January 22. Back in Milwaukee, Our Next Generation participants will deliver a presentation to their peers, sharing their personal photographs and experiences of the trip.
For more than two decades, Our Next Generation has provided quality academic support and life skills programs to thousands of children and youth, pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, in the heart of Milwaukee’s most challenged neighborhoods, with tangible results: better grades, higher high-school graduation rates, improved self-esteem, and positive attitudes toward the future.
Marquette University’s Educational Opportunity Program is an academic program that motivates and enables low-income and first generation students, whose parents do not have a baccalaureate degree, to enter and succeed in higher education.
