On Friday December 6, The Milwaukee Fire Department and TKK Electronics, LLC  kicked off a month long community food drive to raise food donations for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. The two organizations have come together to help provide hunger relief to families in need. Milwaukee firefighters will compete against each other in a friendly competition to determine which firehouse can raise the most pounds of food for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. The food drive will help Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin reach its holiday goal of providing one million meals to families struggling with hunger.

The community is also being asked to participate in the challenge by dropping off canned goods and nonperishable food items at any local neighborhood fire station. All food items donated during this food drive will benefit Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and help support its “Food for the Holidays” campaign.

The community food drive challenge was created and organized by TKK Electronics, LLC. TKK Electronics is an official contracted vendor and provider of rugged laptops and IT services for The State of Wisconsin law enforcement and public safety departments including the Milwaukee Fire Department.
