HOPE Network publishes a 24-page resource and community events newspaper every quarter for the greater Milwaukee area. The recent issue covers events from now through mid-June. It provides a wealth of information and tools for empowerment, and is mailed to 5,500 pregnant women, single mothers, and those who help them, such as agencies, churches, clinics, hospitals, and schools. Plus, 7,000 copies are distributed through libraries, food pantries, clinics, and agencies in metro Milwaukee and Waukesha.
It’s an important tool for single mothers and those who serve them, with hundreds of prenatal and parenting resources, lists for food, clothing, shelter, health, and job training, and free or inexpensive ideas for family fun.
Single mothers or those serving families can call or email HOPE Network to be put on the free mailing list (either for a printed copy or a .pdf each quarter: 262-251-7333 info@hopenetworkinc.org). The spring issue can be downloaded here: http://www.hopenetworkinc.org/newspaper.php
HOPE Network has been serving single mothers in the Milwaukee and Waukesha area since being founded in 1982 by a local resident.
