Milwaukee Public Theatre sponsors SuperStars, a lively interactive 2-week summer arts and drama camp for children on the Autism spectrum and their siblings and friends, ages 4 and up.

The sessions are held from 9 to 11:30 am, Monday through Friday, between June 16 and 27, ad St. Marcus School, 2215 N. Palmer Street, Milwaukee.

Classes are led by MPT artist (and clown) Julie Borouchoff and other teachers certified in autism, the arts and education. A light healthy snack is provided each day. Activities are tailored to fit the needs of individual children. All children participate in the final upbeat Disney-themed public performance for family and friends on Friday, June 27 at 11 am.

The fee for the two-week session is $100 per child. Questions should be addressed to Julie Borochoff at 414-699-9013. A downloadable application form can be found at http://www.milwaukeepublictheatre.org/educational-workshops–residencies.html.

Milwaukee Public Theatre has a long-standing commitment to presenting accessible healing arts and wellness programming. SuperStars is presented with the support of St. Marcus School, Autism Society of Southeast Wisconsin and Milwaukee County Office for Persons with Disabilities. MPT receives additional funding from United Performing Arts Fund, CAMPAC Milwaukee County, and the City of Milwaukee Arts Board and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
