The Foundation for a Drug-Free World is a nonprofit public benefit corporation that empowers youth and adults with factual information about drugs so they can make informed decisions and live drug-free.

Recently, the Foundation for a Drug Free World, who administers the “Truth about Drugs” program around the world, announced that it has selected Milwaukee Police Officer Jesus Gloria, District 2 Community Liaison Officer, to receive a “Drug Free Hero” Award in recognition of his contributions over the last four years in helping educate young people about the dangers of illegal drugs in Milwaukee.

Officer Gloria will be presented with a beautiful plaque at the rotunda of Milwaukee City Hall, on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 3:30pm, which will presented by City of Milwaukee Common Council President, Michael Murphy, as a co-presenter of the award with Foundation for a Drug Free World – Chicago Regional Director, Rebecca Cusano.

All Milwaukee residents are invited to attend this award presentation for Milwaukee Police Officer Jesus Gloria so he can see how proud we are of the fine work he has been doing and continues to do to battle the problem of illegal drug use in our community by educating our young people.

You can receive further information about the Foundation for a Drug Free World and the “Truth about Drugs” educational program online at http://www.drugfreeworld.org.
