On October 21, 2015 at The Pfister Hotel, Safe & Sound will be recognizing outstanding leaders in Milwaukee helping build safe and empowered neighborhoods through their civic participation, community activism and leadership at the Safer.Stronger.Together Awards breakfast. This year, Safe & Sound is proud to honor:

JoAnne Anton – Herb Kohl Champion Award

JoAnne Anton’s professional and personal work promotes community improvement efforts and helps forward many initiatives across the city to build safe and empowered neighborhoods.

U.S Attorney James L. Santelle – Law Enforcement Leader Award

U.S. Attorney James L. Santelle, through his work with several law enforcement agencies, champions ideas for reducing crime and making the community safer.

Harley-Davidson Motor Company – Corporate Leadership Award

Harley-Davidson Motor Company forms alliances with community partners, the Milwaukee Police Department, and most importantly residents in neighborhoods adjacent to their campus, to raise awareness for and support community safety.

Zeynab Ali – Youth Leader Award

Zeynab Ali rises above adversity and acts as a strong youth leader in Milwaukee. Through her relationship with Safe & Sound, the Milwaukee Youth Council and various youth-serving agencies she promotes positive expression and developmental opportunities among young citizens.

Together with our early Civic Leader Sponsors; the Milwaukee Bucks and BMO Harris Bank; Media Sponsor the Milwaukee Business Journal; and other early sponsors Johnson Controls and Marcus Hotels & Resorts – we invite you to you to join us to celebrate those who help build safe and empowered neighborhoods.

Congratulations to the 2015 Safer.Stronger.Together. Award winners! For more details on the Safer.Stronger.Together. event, call Anne Temple at (414) 220-4797 or email anne@safesound.org.
