After Washington Park Partners was forced to cancel the Lisbon Avenue Arts Festival twice because of bad weather, the event went ahead on Friday. Neighborhood residents had the opportunity to see the work of local artists, enjoy live music and sample a variety of foods provided by local vendors. Children got their faces painted by community volunteers and worked on art projects with students from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Washington Park Partners is made up residents, organizations and business that strive to improve the neighborhood.
