Ina Onilu Drum and dance ensemble is a non-profit organization in the city of Milwaukee that thrives on trying to help build the city of Milwaukee back to the strong city it used to be, developing numerous programs and community-based events to help build the spirits of the people of Milwaukee. Executive Director Kenneth Brown, also an employee of West Care, works diligently with the youth of Milwaukee as well as at need adults bringing them to the community of drum and dance, giving hope to those that thought there was no hope.
Ina Onilu’s program MACUM (Mission African Culture United Milwaukee) has been bringing citizens of Milwaukee together for the past two years, using the “reach one teach one” method. This company is doing wonderful things in the City of Milwaukee. Ina onilu hosts community dance classes every Tuesday at the African American women center from 6:30 to 8:15 — $10 for adults free for children under 12. Also the opportunity to Drum, with $3 Drum rentals. This is a cultural experience I think every citizen of Milwaukee should experience.
