Metcalfe Park Community Bridges  will host their first Political Open Mic. event; Residents of all ages are invited to share their thoughts on the stage.  All contestants will have a chance to win first second or third place.

This event will give the community an opportunity to share their thoughts on the political system and how it affects their everyday life.

Residents will also receive educational materials on the roles and responsibility of each office up for election April 5, 2016.

As a community we believe that is important that we hear from our community in order to better serve them. This event will help to inform us as we work to strengthen the political power within the Metcalfe Park community.

The event is being held in partnership with Metcalfe Park Community Bridges, The Sierra Club Wisconsin Jobs Now and the Black Historical Society Museum.

We are requesting donations of visa gift card to be used as prizes for the contestants.

Thank you for considering making a donation we appreciate your commitment.

Event logistics are included on the flyer below.

To schedule a donation pick up /drop off or for more information contact:

Building Neighborhood Site Coordinator Danell Cross at 414-238-5676 or cross_danell.bncp@yahoo.com.
