Kicking off Milwaukee’s busy festival season, the 2016 Sun Fair drew crowds of fun-seeking South Siders to Mitchell Street. Between 7th and 11th Streets, among the thoroughfare’s diverse array of shops, the event featured carnival rides, live music, games, food from local vendors, performances and resources from community organizations.

Historic Mitchell Street Business Improvement District #4 organized the event in conjunction with local businesses. This weekend marks the sixth consecutive year for the Sun Fair on Mitchell Street after an absence of 20 years.

BRAVO to Nancy and the entire Historic Mitchell Street Business Improvement District #4 for once again putting on a great event AND to Adam Carr for capturing the spirit of the evening in this post. Sorry I had to miss it.
