Troop Café hosts Veteran’s Day celebration

Troop Cafe hosted a Veteran’s Day celebration at its Milwaukee location on November 10 at 10am. Wisconsin State Representative Evan Goyke and City of Milwaukee Alderman Bob Bauman were in attendance.

The event celebrated Troop Café’s positive impact and highlight veteran’s contributions to the Milwaukee restaurant community. Troop Café is owned and managed by the Center for Veteran’s Issues. It is a unique workforce development program that trains veterans in the culinary arts and helps place them in Milwaukee’s restaurant industry. A variety of speakers were featured at the event, including Representative Goyke, Alderman Bauman and Wisconsin Restaurant Association President Ed Lump.
