Program participants examine their personal strengths and challenges, and learn best practices in team building and collaboration. In the process, students engage directly with community leaders in organizations throughout Milwaukee County who are key to the community’s vitality and health. As part of the nine-month experience, Future Milwaukee participants work in teams collaborating with citizens and organizations to implement a project. In addition, each student receives one-on-one leadership coaching and each project team is mentored in group dynamics.

Participants meet two times each month on Monday evenings from mid-September 2017 through mid-May 2018 and receive a Certificate of Completion upon graduation.
