HeartLove Place has announced that they are enrolling for their newest program: Culinary 101 with Servsafe Food Safety Manager. After the long term success of the Servsafe ProStart program, HLP has decided to offer a shorter culinary training program geared towards quickly connecting out of work participants with livable wage positions throughout the greater Milwaukee area.

Under the leadership of Milwaukee Chef Fred Coleman, a contestant from Season 7 on FOX’s Master Chef, program participants will acquire foundational culinary skills and education necessary for food service management positions. Additionally, participants will complete the Servsafe Food Safety Manager’s exam- a nationally accredited certification for food service professionals.

HeartLove Place has been a provider of food service training since 2005. This program is for adults 18 years older. Interested individuals can expect to see additional programs at HeartLove Place in 2019 for both adults and teens between the ages of 15-17.

HeartLove Place is a nonprofit serving Milwaukee’s Harambee Neighborhood. HeartLove Place has been a provider of food service training since 2005. Founded on the principals of Christian values, HLP provides programs and services that empower, develop, and motivate families and strengthen our community.
