Milwaukee-area leaders will discuss the impact of Gov. Tony Evers’ proposed 2019-21 state budget on Thursday, March 28, at a Viewpoint Luncheon presented by the nonpartisan, independent Wisconsin Policy Forum.

The discussion will begin with the Forum’s analysis of the Governor’s proposed budget followed by a panel of local leaders who will speak to the wide range of possible impacts for the state’s largest metro region. Scheduled speakers include:

Suzanne Kelley, President, Waukesha County Business Alliance
Mary Jo Meyers, Director, Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services
Mark Mone, Chancellor, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
Maxine White, Chief Judge, First Judicial District of Wisconsin

The discussion will be moderated by WPF President Rob Henken.

The luncheon will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Italian Conference Center, 631 E. Chicago St., Milwaukee. The panel discussion is expected to start at about 12:15 p.m.  A mult-box will be available for audio.
