Members of Beyond the Bell have launched an advocacy campaign to invest adequate ARPA dollars in Milwaukee’s youth. We are going to have the petition open for people to sign the rest of this month. Here is the information:
The Beyond the Bell Coalition is calling for the City of Milwaukee to invest a minimum of $30 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to help meet the needs of young people in Milwaukee. Over 40% of our City’s population is 24 years old or younger, and they have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and systemic underinvestment.
You’re invited to sign this letter of support for this investment and to share this message with your family, friends, and other networks to sign.
