The annual Doors Open event allows the public to explore more than 150 locations throughout the city, including 12 sites in the spotlight neighborhoods of Sherman Park and Clarke Square. The event will be held Sept. 17 and 18.
We Got This celebrates third season mentoring black youth
We Got This, a community improvement program created by activist Andre Lee Ellis, recently finished its third season at the garden located on N. 9th and W. Ring streets. After a day of working in the garden, the young men and their mentors participated in a closing ceremony to congratulate all involved in the program.
