Teen program plants seeds for ‘golden’ future

An innovative program at COA Goldin Center started last summer to teach teens gardening and entrepreneurship skills yielded camaraderie and cash for participants. This summer, it expanded to four additional locations.

Salvation Army feeds lunch to Milwaukee kids in need

The Salvation Army’s Feed the Kids summer lunch program distributed more meals during its first three weeks than it did during the same period last year, reflecting greater need in the Milwaukee area.
