For the first time, Journey House will be offering free tax assistance to qualified residents beginning next month. Volunteers trained by the VITA program also will offer tax assistance and financial counseling at other sites around the city.
At various locations, volunteers from SHARE Food Buying Club distributed boxes of meals to Milwaukee residents. The program helps individuals save up to 50 percent on food every month.
