Urban Underground comes up with improvement projects

After months of preparation, Urban Underground youth recently presented their plans for improving health, public safety, education and juvenile justice in Milwaukee. The organization collaborated with other non-profits to hold a youth summit at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.

City program saves homeowners money on energy

Gilda’s Club takes cancer support to the neighborhoods

The cancer support organization Gilda’s Club lost its Shorewood building in a flood 1-1/2 years ago, so the group decided to take its services into the neighborhoods. The club is confident that “if you build it, they will come.”
