NNS Neighborhoods A-Z

The Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service covers 17 Milwaukee communities, each filled with fascinating people, places and organizations. This summer, NNS is exploring and sharing our neighborhoods, one letter at a time, from the Agape Community Center to Zeidler Union Square.

Each weekday, for 26 days, we will be rolling out a photograph that highlights a point of interest in one of our neighborhoods. It may be a well known visual icon, a grassroots organization, a community pillar, or hidden gem. All photographs were done by NNS photographer Sue Vliet.

And we want you and your neighborhood to join in the exploration! For each letter of the alphabet, you can share a name from your neighborhood or path through the city on our Facebook page and our partner Urban Milwaukee’s Facebook page. We will be collecting responses throughout the 26 days to incorporate in a special project.

We’re excited to share this alphabetical adventure with you!
