Flowering Tree, an organization that promotes Native American culture, held an event Saturday honoring veterans, active military members and others who serve the community at the All Nations Senior and Culture Center at 33rd and State Street. Other sponsors were Catholic Congregation of the Great Spirit, Lutheran Church of the Great Spirit and the Inidian Council of the Elderly.
