About 50 potential homebuyers participated in a weekend bus tour of six homes in the Burnham Park, Silver City and Layton Park neighborhoods. The tour began at the Urban Ecology Center at 3700 W. Pierce St., where participants learned about the neighborhoods’ revitalization program. A slideshow in Spanish provided financial advice and highlighted parks, community festivals, restaurants and opportunities for community involvement.
