“We are grateful for the giving hearts of so many Milwaukeeans donating $3,970,921 to help The Salvation Army in Milwaukee County reach it’s $3.9M 2015 Red Kettle Christmas Campaign goal, thank you Milwaukee for your generous support,” said Major Dan Jennings, Salvation Army Divisional Commander for Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.

“A successful Red Kettle Kickoff at the Milwaukee Public Market, an outstanding Celebrity Bell Ringing Day, dedicated bell ringers and a host of volunteers and Christmas season events, all made for a wonderful and successful 2015 Red Kettle Campaign,” said Major Dan Jennings. “The success of the annual Red Kettle Campaign will ensure critical needs of the unemployed, underemployed, homeless and others who are often over looked and underserved, are met,” continued Jennings.

“With eighty-four cents of every dollar donated used to sustain 85 distinct year round programs and services including emergency shelter, food and clothing, disaster relief, utility and rent assistance, employment services and summer lunch programs for children, The Salvation Army maximizes the generous contributions made by the wonderful people of Milwaukee County,” said Major Jennings.
