Occupying a long-vacant parcel in the heart of the 30th Street Industrial Corridor, the recently constructed Century City I opened its doors to community members, elected officials and potential investors Thursday. Developed by General Capital in partnership with the City of Milwaukee, the 53,160-square-foot industrial building is available for lease.

The building is located on the former A.O. Smith/Tower Automotive site and is part of a more than $40 million investment by the City of Milwaukee to create the 86-acre Century City business park. Developers hope the multi-phase project attracts advanced manufacturing companies and new jobs to the area.
