South Side Candidate Forum focused on tobacco prevention and positive youth development/violence prevention

WI Assembly Districts 8, 9 and 20 Candidate Forum Focused on Tobacco Prevention and Positive Youth Development/Violence prevention

The Hispanic/Latino Tobacco Prevention Network, along with the City of Milwaukee Tobacco Free Alliance and Community Advocates Public Policy Institute will host an Assembly candidate forum on Thursday, July 14th, 2016 from 5:30 -7:00 pm at the UMOS Administrative Building Boardroom- 2701 S. Chase Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. 53207. This event will be a joint forum with current representatives and candidates from Assembly Districts 8, 9 and 20. All candidates and incumbents from the districts have been invited, including: Jocasta Zamarripa (D) Incumbent; Laura Manriquez (D); Josh Zepnick (D) incumbent; Marisabel Cabrera (D); Christine Sinicki (D) incumbent and Julie Meyer (D).
Questions will be focused on tobacco/other tobacco product prevention, and general positive youth development and violence prevention. Questions can be submitted via email to Deb Heffner at DHeffner@communityadvocates.net until July 12th, 2016.
This is a public event, open to constituents and community partners, however, registration is requested. Please register with Coordinator, Tina Rivera at 414-389-6501 by July 12th, 2016.
