I am Travis Hope, the volunteer president of the KK River Neighbors In Action and longtime South Side resident. We have our meetings at the Pulaski Park pavilion every second Wednesday of the month and all are welcome.

I love all the parks in Milwaukee but the last three years I have been spending a lot of time at Pulaski Park with my kids . On this day with the camera, I went to the park with my daughter Iveliz and our dog Petunia. I wanted to show the park now because in the next couple of years there will be a lot of changes. Still, there is a lot of fun and enjoyment that can be had in the park now.

Travis you captured some awesome views that are part of the life of Pulaski park, I see such warm peaceful moments on a winters day. My two favorites are the reflection and the last snow before spring, they are all beautifu.

The swing area used to be a swimming pool where I swam as a kid. Your photos are awesome!

Great photos Travis and Iveliz. Can’t wait to see what the finished park is going to look like.

Is that the original pavilion at Pulaski park? Used to go there quite often in the 1930′ thru the 1940″s when i was a youngster.

I grew up on the south side of Milwaukee as a young boy & I have many good memories especially of Pulaski Park. I really enjoyed sledding down the big hill in winter and playing baseball in the summer & riding my bicycle thru some of the pathways.
