The newly expanded Gee’s Clippers Barbering and Beauty Salon, 2200 N. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr., will hold a grand opening ceremony tomorrow (Wednesday, May 17). The free public event will begin at 11 a.m. and will feature live entertainment and light refreshments, according to Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs.
“The new and improved Gee’s Clippers will ensure that owner Gaulien Smith and his talented staff continue to serve customers in the heart of Bronzeville and in the Historic King Drive Business Improvement District for many years to come,” Alderwoman Coggs said.
“I encourage residents and business owners to join us tomorrow for this celebration,” she said.
