Neighborhood House of Milwaukee recently invited community members to enjoy a Giving Thanks Potluck. Guests were encouraged to bring a side dish to share. The children’s only concern was that there would be enough whipped cream to go around for the pumpkin pie.
The children could make turkey-themed tea lights with googly eyes at the craft station. They also performed a dance number for the people who attended. Neighborhood House has been hosting this event consistently for the last 11 years. It was free and open to the public.
