Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services invites the community to be part of a conversation on youth justice reform, Thursday, January 24 from 6-8 p.m. at St. Peter-Immanuel Lutheran Church and School, located at 7801 W. Acacia St, Milwaukee.

Milwaukee County is planning a new secure care center for youth who have committed less-severe offenses. One possible location for this center is Milwaukee’s Northwest side in the Havenwoods neighborhood. As part of this planning process, Milwaukee County wants to talk with community members about its hopes for the new center to feature healing-focused treatment, restorative justice programming and reintegration of these youth back into our communities and workforces.
