On Saturday, April 27th, the 14th annual SCORES CUP will feature 20 adult, corporate sponsored teams playing in a fun and friendly indoor soccer tournament in front of hundreds of supporters and spectators at Uihlein Soccer Park (7101 W. Good Hope Road).

The unique fundraiser supports Milwaukee’s underserved children and allows more than 1,000 to participate in youth-development programming and life-changing activities during high-risk after school hours.

“One hundred percent of the proceeds provide youth in Milwaukee’s urban neighborhoods with free programming that incorporates soccer instruction, promotes academic achievement, and teaches the importance of community service through area service projects and learning initiatives,” said Kate Carpenter, America SCORES Milwaukee Executive Director. “We are grateful for and appreciate these corporations and players whose participation supports us in providing a curriculum that encourages Milwaukee Public School students to become caring and confident contributors in their schools and our community.”

Corporate sponsored teams include Baird, Briggs & Stratton, Crescendo, Empower, Fiduciary Management, Meijer, MGS Manufacturing, Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, Northwestern Mutual, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Quarles & Brady, Sobelman’s Pub & Grill, Solstice Consulting, Superior Die Set, ULINE, UPS, WaterStone Bank, and We Energies. Additionally, two individually-fundraised teams from the Milwaukee chapter of the American Outlaws soccer group and Milwaukee Public Schools will be playing.
