Lupe Martinez is a man in constant motion.
As the CEO of UMOS, he has little choice.
The 74-year-old Martinez never turns his phone off and works seven days a week.
“We’re constantly moving, and that’s what the organization does in order to survive,” said Martinez, referring to his nonprofit that is dedicated to improving the employment, educational, health and housing opportunities of underserved populations.
Martinez has been with UMOS for 50 years and has served as CEO for 45 of them.
