The Metropolitan Milwaukee Fair Housing Council is proud to announce the creation of a new, free housing search app for mobile phones and tablets: Fair Housing Hunt.

Links to install the app are available here:
https://www.fairhousingwisconsin.com/housing-search-app

Designed for use throughout Wisconsin, Fair Housing Hunt allows users to quickly and easily record information about their rental housing options, and then compare units based on characteristics like size, cost, and location. It also contains important information about fair housing laws, and how homeseekers can stand up for their rights if they experience discrimination.

“This app is the very first of its kind in the nation,” says Erika Sanders, the Fair Housing Council’s Director of Program Services. “It’s an empowering tool housing consumers can use to make informed choices about where to live. Further, it will make sure that homeseekers are prepared to protect their fair housing rights if they encounter discrimination during their search.”
