On October 12, Borsuk will explore the potential long-term effects of prolonged disruption in traditional in-person schooling and which schools are keeping kids engaged and actively learning and how they are doing it, among other topics. The event is free but registration is required by October 10 at https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_XbPnR5AeTpKggohR-Ldc7Q.

Future programs in the series are scheduled for October 26 and November 9, both also happening at 10:00 AM via ZOOM. On October 26, guest speaker Dr. Laura Cassidy, Professor & Director Epidemiology Division, Medical College of Wisconsin, will discuss the physical consequences of COVID-19 on children. On November 9, guest speaker Amanda Ramirez, MS, LPC, School-Based Therapist, SaintA, is scheduled to talk on the emotional lives of our children in a COVID-19 world.

The virtual series is put on by Seeds of Health with sponsorship from Kapco, Inc.
