The UWM Planetarium is excited to host its long-anticipated Under African Skies program. Originally scheduled for spring 2020, COVID forced us to postpone this program and shift to a virtual format after months of planning and preparation.
Under African Skies brings together multiple individuals and departments across campus, including African and African Diaspora Studies, Engineering, and the College of Nursing.
Each Friday at 7:00 p.m. from November 6 to December 4 (excluding November 27), a different guest speaker will talk about their country, culture, and connections to the night sky. Experience stars, stories, and cultural perspectives across the expansive African continent. Tickets are free or pay what you can. Register at https://uwm.universitytickets.com/?cid=195

November 13: Lucy Mkandawire-Valhmu, Malawi
