Editor’s note: Posts from the Community is the place for community announcements and event postings. If you have a community-oriented event you feel our readers would be interested in, please submit here.

We’ve lost mothers, fathers, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Although they have moved on, they are missed dearly and will never be forgotten.

If you’re one of the many who has lost a loved one in Milwaukee to the Coronavirus pandemic, we’d like to help you honor their memory by going to  http://bit.ly/mkelovedones and sharing a remembrance, and a photo (optional) of your loved one that we can add to our community memorial.

We will be printing the memorial featuring your loved ones in a local Milwaukee newspaper. You can also help us by sharing this video to help encourage others to share memories of their loved ones.

Submissions are due by Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2021.

The memorial is organized by Jump at the Sun Consultants, LLC,  in partnership with Community Resilience MKE, the Lovell Johnson Quality of Life Center,  Black Leaders Advancing Health Equity, the Wisconsin African American Tobacco Prevention Network and Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention and Poverty Network.
