This summer, Milwaukee Recreation is offering affordable child care at nearly 70 sites across the city. Qualified staff members provide a safe and nurturing place for youth ages K4 – 12 during non-school hours at Child Care Camps, Community Learning Centers (CLCs), and Safe Places.
These programs provide varying types of academic and recreational support, including:
- Enrichment activities
- STEM programming
- Sports and fitness activities
- Arts activities (music, dance, visual art)
- Leadership and social skills development
- Engaging field trips
The locations will open on varying dates in June and prices vary by site. An interactive map of Milwaukee Recreation summer sites, including all child care locations, can be found at mkerec.net. For additional details, contact the Site Director at your preferred location.
