Tobacco retailers and members of the community are invited to join us on Thursday June, 24, from 11-Noon to learn about the retail environment in Milwaukee and receive information and resources on tobacco compliance checks.
The virtual event is being hosted by the City of Milwaukee Tobacco-Free Alliance, in partnership with the Wisconsin African American Tobacco Prevention Network, Wisconsin Tobacco Prevention and Poverty Network, Wisconsin Hispanic Tobacco Prevention Network and 53206 Drug-Free Communities.
That day individuals can also learn more about the Federal T-21 law which raised the age to purchase tobacco from 18-21, the Wisconsin Retailer Assessment Project findings, the Wisconsin Wins program, and WiTobaccoCheck.org, a website that provides free training for retailers.
