Layton Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23.

2. COA and Clean Slate Milwaukee’s restoration summit: Wednesday, Sept. 22

COA Youth & Family Centers and Clean Slate Milwaukee are hosting a restoration summit for individuals who have a criminal record or are on parole. 3. Drive-thru job fairs: Thursday, Sept. 23

The City of Milwaukee and its partners are hosting two drive-thru jobs fairs this week. The job fairs will take place at Midtown, 5825 W. Hope Ave., and Prince of Peace Catholic School, 1015 S. 24th St., from noon to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 23. Attendees will receive information on employment assistance programs and employment opportunities.

4. Milwaukee County community health survey: Deadline Friday, Sept. 24

Milwaukee County residents are invited to participate in a community health survey. The survey asks questions regarding access to health care, tobacco and alcohol use, diet, physical activity and more. The Milwaukee Health Care Partnership conducts this survey as part of its community health needs assessment. The survey is available in English and Spanish and can be accessed here. It will be available through Friday, Sept. 24.

5. “Step to the beat of healing” block party: Saturday, Sept. 25

CORE El Centro, 130 W. Bruce St., is hosting a block party from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25.
