It’s Friday in Milwaukee, and here are some things we think you should know.

1. Buy local this Black Friday and Small Business Saturday: Friday, Nov. 26 and Saturday, Nov. 27

2. Fourth annual “Warming the Streets Drive”: Saturday, Nov. 27
As the weather gets colder, Campaigning for Strength is passing out winter clothing at its fourth annual “Warming the Streets Drive.” The drive will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 1531 W. Vliet St.
3. Food distribution with Ayuda Mutua MKE: Sunday, Nov. 28
Ayuda Mutua MKE, a mutual aid group on the South Side, will be distributing fresh food and produce on the corner of South 21st Street and West Mineral Avenue from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28.
4. Step by step painting class: classes available all weekend
Whether you’re trying to pick up a new skill or just having fun, painting can be a relaxing way to spend a weekend. The Farmhouse Paint Bar and Banquet Hall is hosting painting classes all weekend where the staff will teach you how to paint with acrylic paint on stretched canvas. 5. “King of the Ring” wrestling game tournament: Sunday, Nov. 28
Battle Lounge hosts “King of the Ring,” a wrestling game tournament of one-on-one fights, tag teams and battle royales. The tournament starts at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 5431 W. Lisbon Ave. Entry for those wearing “related” cosplay is free, otherwise entry is $5.
BONUS: Visit Santa, get a free toy: Saturday, Nov. 27
Looking for pictures with Santa? If you visit Boost Mobile between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, you’ll not only get a picture with the big man but also a free wrapped gift for your child. This event takes place at 1333 N. 35th St. More information is available here.
