Penfield Montessori Academy, a free Montessori public charter school, offers a curriculum that emphasizes discovery and personalized instruction to help students learn and develop in a self-directed and hands-on environment. The school community represents families from all socioeconomic and racial backgrounds throughout Milwaukee and prides itself on the diverse student population.

“We are proud of our ability to provide a quality and authentic Montessori curriculum where children learn together in multi-age classrooms,” said Dr. Mora Anderson, Head of School at Penfield Montessori. “Our children are excited to come to school each day and our staff do what it takes to ensure every child feels supported and stays focused on their individualized learning plan.”

Penfield Montessori welcomes children of all abilities and is currently enrolling for grades K3-K5. The primary environment teaches children practical life skills, encourages language development, and introduces early learners to mathematics and cultural studies.

In addition to the limited enrollment opportunities, Penfield Montessori is hiring for a variety of positions, including Montessori assistant teachers, special education paraprofessionals, and more! The close-knit community of educators and administrative staff makes a difference in the lives of Penfield Montessori’s families each and every day, working in a supportive, inclusive environment.
