1. Volunteer for food drive: Friday, April 1

The MKE Good Food Bus, which delivers pay-what-you-can food to a variety of neighborhoods on the North and South sides, is looking for volunteers for its food drive from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 1 at the Urban Ecology Center’s Washington Park location at 1859 N. 40th St. Volunteers will help distribute food and organize future deliveries. 2. Pocket Change + NilexNile at Nō Studios: Friday, April 1

Milwaukee-based talent is on display again, featuring hip-hop, bebop and R&B blenders Pocket Change and hip-hop artist NilexNile. Doors open at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 1 at Nō Studios, located at 1037 W. McKinley Ave. Tickets are $10 for non-members of Nō Studios. More information about the show and artists here.

3. Wedding and Quinceañera Expo: Sunday, April 3

Those planning a wedding or quinceañera can find cakes, dresses, limos, catering and more at this wedding and quinceañera expo from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 3 at Serb Hall, located at 5101 W. Oklahoma Ave. Tickets are $10. For more information call 414-383-1000. The event is hosted by El Conquistador Latino Newspaper.

4. Mercado Perú: Sunday, April 3

Find coffee, empanadas, plants, hemp and more at this makers market hosted by Triciclo Perú. The market runs from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 3 and every Sunday through April 24 except Easter (April 17) at Triciclo Perú, located at 3801 W. Vliet St. More information here.

5. Get a discount for musical about The Temptations: while available

You can still get discounted tickets through the Wisconsin African-American Women’s Center for “Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations” musical by Dominique Morisseau. The discounted tickets are for shows playing at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6 and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 10 at the Marcus Performing Arts Center, located at 929 N.
