1. Bounce Milwaukee’s monthly pinball tournament: Friday, June 17

This Friday, and the third Friday of every month, is Bounce Milwaukee’s monthly pinball tournament. This month’s tournament starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 17 at Bounce Milwaukee, located at 2801 S. 5th Court.

2. 2022 Sixteenth Street Bike Day: Saturday, June 18

Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers hosts this free community wellness event with food and activities including bike fitting, kid’s activities, Zumba and salsa instruction and a chance to pick up a free bike helmet. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at Kosciuszko (Kozy) Park, located at South 9th Street and West Lincoln Avenue.

3. Connecting Communities on the South Side: Friday, June 17

Learn about positive changes to the streets and in the neighborhood, including a DIY skatepark. The tour starts at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17 at the intersection of South 9th Street and West National Avenue. More information here.

4. Black-owned summer marketplace: Saturday, June 18

Support Black vendors at this market, organized by MKE Black, from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at the Deer District, located at 1133 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Download the MKE Black app to learn more about what is available through Black-owned businesses in Milwaukee.

5. Family fun days in the garden: Saturday, June 18

Make a mini-garden in a jar with the family at this neighborhood gathering at the Westlawn Community Garden. The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at 6301 W. Custer Ave.
